Never mind the fact that the bar isn't going to be open for another two hours.

Dennis, It sounds like a stunt on your part to get a two hour head start on us guys, not to mention you just ruined any chance of Gomer taking his monthly bath!!!!

All that money and look at the rust on the boiler and trucks. I've bought some fine cars for a lot less. Only paid $6K for a 72 'Cuda, $8500 for a '71 slapstick Challenger, and $7K for the '68 4speed Roadrunner. Some people have too much money. Mitch

"Gomer? Hey, Gomer. GOMER!" Tramp bangs the bar with his fist and mumbles, "The damn coot is passed out again. I need a bloody drink. Well . . . not bloody, but wet."

Tramp, I'll trade you a drink for a poem with the words "ocean" and "Timbuktu" in it.

Seems Gomer was declared Pater Familia by the court system on a number of occasions. He owes a few back payments. Since he was using a different alias with each of them, he's mostly safe. But an opportunity for a photo ID brings on the DTs. He sure did a job out at that women's prision in Tucson, AZ.

Seems Gomer set himself up to run a private wormen's prison on contract to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Somehow, he got all of the hookers transferred there and was running a sideline or two when things got dicey.

Hmmm...

When I showed Gomer's picture to the redhead, I thought I saw a momentary flash of recognition, hastily squelched....

Nah. Couldn't be.

She sez she's never been west of the Missip.

I'm still tired. :o Saturday, four of us laid 200' of two foot gauge track. All of it was tight curve. Talk about some work. Had to make a bend every foot on both rails. I have a new appreciation of the poor guys that do this everyday for a living, and they use "alot" heavier rail and ties. This was just 30 lb. rail.

I'm WAY too old for that kind of work!
And, only 3,000 feet to go. :(

Now that I get a different picture of our man Gomer, just maybe i DON'T want to share a doob with him.

He pours an honest shot, though.
Least, for me.
Probably half water.
Damn him.
This redhead got me all messed up.
