As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

I was going to let some of the more spry and mechanically minded "experiment" and report back to us....

I have been retired for 6 years and nothing in the list is true for me.

Although I laughed at, "Verify that socks are indeed upon the feet before attempting to remove any wrinkles in them," my swollen feet and ankles preclude any wrinkles.

Although I wake up 3-4 times a day, it is no joy to find I have fallen asleep at the computer again. I often wonder why I don't fall out of the chair when sleeping. Perhaps the wide butt that goes with being overweight helps.

Nobody believes I am 72. One factor that hides my age is fat. Fat fills out wrinkles better than botox. Hmmm... come to think about it, I might be able to come up with a list on the topic of "The Joys of Being Overweight." Meghan Trainor wrote a song about the joy of size: < http://youtu.be/7PCkvCPvDXk >

I'm allowed to use "amurcan", because I know the correct English.

And it makes me feel superior to correct people, because I am next-to-perfect myslef.
