Dave,

I agree but I would think that church was very proud of it.

It is a small pipe organ.

Given the location and time frame and affluence of Carlisle, it's a pretty decent sized pipe organ. Odds are it was also made not all that far away in Hagerstown, MD where the Möller Organ Company was founded and sadly closed back in 1992

Was wondering when someone might notice that. And, the theme of 2 separate entrances was embraced for a few of the churches posted so far. They didn't need the signs.

The church I grew up in, 2nd Congregational Church (United Church of Christ), in Greenfield, MA. had 3 doors, One for men, one for women...
who used the third door?

The Methodist Church in Chambersburg......

Trolley tracks or steam -- no overhead wires......

Dirt road but cut stone curbs and brick walkways.....some details to consider.

The tracks look wide to me; Pa trolley gauge? 5' 2 1/2" . There might be a wire, just not too visible in the somewhat over-exposed image.

Same thoughts I had, but then where are the poles?
