I'm going with Astro-boy. Explains much.

:D

Sarge,

Probably does look a bit more like Jim Carrey. Needed to be a bit more pointy and in the center for Martin Short!

That seies of photos is wonderful.History as many never saw history.
I think the time given was 1943.I was 9.That is about the time I got my first ride in a steam loco cab.
First ride in a caboose, cabin car on the PRR,came a short time later.
I know I was not the first or only or youngest to have that honor but at the time I was "King Of the Hill".
My last ride in a loco cab was in a diesel on MetroNorth that switched to electric without a stop.
The ride was along the Hudson River and most of it was at 89 mph and was the fastest cab ride I ever had.
It was from Poughkeepsie to Grand Central Terminal and return.

Wow, this club car/hobo jungle thread is still going? As my maternal grandma would say, "I swan!" Haven't drifted into these parts in a very long time - just hope my old drinking pals are alive and not going quietly. Cheers and long live the jungle!

Jackie Blue, how are you? It is great to see you again. Haven't seen you around these parts in how long, five years?

I am afraid a lot has changed since you last drifted by. San quit posting altogether, although he still plays with his trains and rides his bicycles. He is approaching retirement, I am hoping he soon will visit the jungle again, when he has more time.

Tramp seldom posts, he has been busy teaching, writing novels and creating new art. Check it out: https://www.facebook.com/pages/LiveCell/142403279206496

Pete comes around on rare occasions, since Hev died last year we have both been in the doldrems.

We lost Jim Perrine last year also.

Roger still posts regularly. Maybe he will see you here and stop by to say hello.

Hobo talk has just about died out here in the jungle, all the new hobos talks like they is real edjucated.
