DaiZZiE, After hosing down the key board with some contact cleaner, I removed all the access panels and let the laptop dry out in the Mississippi sun for a couple days. When I put it back together I was surprised as all get out it was working like a top again. Although the laptop still has a bit of a catty air about it.

What are some of the things you enjoy doing?

[ Just living here. Easterners think California is laid back. Californians think Arizona is laid back. You do the math. ]
[ Riding a bicycle through saguaro forests is stranger than being on another planet. ]
[ Visiting the cattle ranchers where my wife grew up. They like telling stories about her grandpa and uncles. ]
[ Reading the stories that early Native Americans left on rocks. ]

What gives you pause and concern, if I may ask?

[ Tucson has one of the highest property crime rates in the country. I moved out of the city into the desert because of that. (In contrast... New Jersey boasts three of the nation's safest and most secure metro areas. Reference: http://www.bestplaces.net/docs/studies/crime1.aspx)]

What are the advantages? Eh? Huh?

[ Tucson is a place one goes to on vacation. I have never gotten over the feeling that I am on an endless vacation. ]

[ The Cat-From-Hell is my wife's cat. The first bobcat pictures were of a wild kitten. That one belongs to God. The second is someone else's pet that I found on the internet. I had a bobcat for a very short time. A friend had raised it from a kitten. When it got big it changed its behavior and they had to get rid of it. While I had it, it quit eating cat food and would go out into the desert and bring back a rabbit to eat. One day it did not come back. I live just two miles from Cat Mountain, so named because of all the bobcats that live in the area. I suspect that my cat found true love out there somewhere. ]

Here are a few pictures of a bobcat in a tree in my daughters backyard in Oro Valley, AZ just northwest of Tucson. They were taken 2 years ago. We just got back from there after spending Halloween with the granddaughters.

Hope to move out there permanently real soon.
