Roger Roush
We are Roger Roush's family. We have logged on to share our sad news to the model train forum. While on vacation with our parents (Roger and Ruthlane Roush) this past week, our father suffered an aortic aneurysm rupture. Unfortunately, our dad passed away on the morning of August 1. We will be celeb...

Re: Menard's First Locomotive
Most seem to be very pleased with the various sounds. Most of those people need to have their hearing checked! The voice announcements are at least intelligible but are equally non-sensical. The horn is worse than terrible. The bell at least sounds like a bell. Engine sounds appear to be on or off,...

Re: Menard's First Locomotive
It will really need to be compatible with any Lionel trains.
Most seem to be very pleased with the various sounds.
I can take or leave the sounds but would be more
concerned about the "jack rabbit" starts.
$200.00 might still be a good price if some problems are fixed.

Thanks, Wayne.
Reading the attachment,it seems to me that calling it a hash, at least in the U.S., became more common after computers became more widely available.

Such as #. When I was young, a long time ago, that meant number. Then pound and now hashtag.

Re: Menard's First Locomotive
I find it interesting that there are 18 pages of comments about this loco on OGR. I didn't read much but they even found ways to criticize Lionel while praising (with a little criticism of) Menards. Apparently if Menards wants to sell this loco they, Menards, had better listen to the OGR forumites. ...

Jerry, Beautiful layout and trains. I am a 3 R person that likes trains of any size, One thing that I really appreciate on the videos linked by you is that the sound is not overpowering everything else as it usually does on most 3 R models.. I think I see and hear what the builder (s) of this layout...

I agree, the backdrop really comes off.I remember that you had a photographer and then maker of the backdrop.
They did a great job but it also took your installation to make it come off as well as Healey and I think we see.
