Scored a few deals earlier this summer from the estate of a friend. Some real jewels, a few never ran. It was nice to save some money and more importantly, I got some models my friend had that we enjoyed during visits.

The parts sale is a great deal, 50% off. Through the years I’ve bought motors, lost wax castings, pilots, etc. An entire drawer full of stuff in the shop. Very handy to have around when needed.

Just posted for general information. Thought others may be interested. I’ve never used the SC spray cans but told by others they were excellent and many reiterated the same comment about nozzle design. An old metal mail box with a 300 W light bulb inside and a fews hours will speed up the drying time.

This is terrible news. A great company, excellent machines/products and their support staff is top-notch.

Really sorry to see this happening to them and the impact it’ll have on small machinists/hobbyists. Wish them the best moving forward.

Yep, he’s a hell of a great guy, NMRA MMR, builds beautiful pieces.

He gave a presentation on this particular model at the March Meet and it was featured in a recent OSR article. A great read.

I Try to be faithful to hobby suppliers also, a few years ago switched to Mc Master-Carr. It’s easier where we’re located.
