Re: Northern weather
Another bout of heat for Perth Perth has finally cooled down to about average summer levels over the last few days, and is on track to heat up to a balmy 32 degrees today. However, the heat will make a return from the start of the working week, when temperatures will rise to the mid-to-high 30's acr...

Re: Northern weather
Murph. Don't get the wrong idea about the way Margaret and myself live. We have four kids all married and they have everything they just regard us as eccentrics or "The Oldies". Don't forget a few years back I was a car maniac the faster the better. I never knock anyone about how they live...

Re: Northern weather
Now, there's an intriguing remark. I wouldn't even consider being without one - only time I did not have a car, since I was sixteen, was when I lived on Manhattan (for a year+, back in the late-60's) and you know why that would have been the case. Between the time I was 24 years old to 31 years old ...

Re: 2 rail at last
I find with the metal couplings you can tighten the holding screws without distorting the coupling box. If you tighten the plastic 804 Kadee boxes to tight the coupling tends to bind because of the distortion of the plastic this never happens with a metal coupling. OK I know! Don't be heavy handed w...

Re: Seen in Print
Marty. OK, no more Cypriot cats. I thought it was funny I had a laugh I haven't opened those photos up for a very long time. I spent 10 weeks in Cyprus once and everyday I would take a photo of a cat, the island is full of them. Today I am laying some track and building a wharf. You take care mate. ...

"Wood to metal CA works fine in two steps. CA the wood as a sealant, then the area becomes non-porous and the CA you then use on the joint doesn't get wicked away."
