Re: Laser cut windows for Atlas SW8/9/1200
Dave, looking at the photos of your SW units, it appears the edges of the new window material were not blackened.
That makes a big difference in appearance of the 'glass', as being thin.

The 'Easy 8' Sherman tank was also produced in 1:48 scale under the 'Hobby Boss' label. I found it at Hobby Lobby.

Re: Paint Stripper
for water soluble, find a good quality citrus (orange) stripper. if you can get a hold of Castrol Super Clean, it also does a good job. some paints are overnight, others are days and days. water soluble. I was startled to find that a highly diluted (with water) batch of Simple Green used to wash a f...

Re: Help with Choosing A Catenary System
you may know we have extensive catenary on the Cherry Valley club layout, all hand made. if you wind up purchasing lineside poles, building the wires is not all that difficult if you're handy with a soldering iron. Drew McCann, who built our catenary, made a jig to fabricate a string of catenary. it...

Re: Mayor Bill de Blasio
Mayor Bill is a typical left side politician that says what the populace want to hear. Those that want to be given everything.
We here in the tri-state knew that from the get-go.
John Galt rolls over in his grave.
