Re: MTH Warehouse Auction
Dun & Bradstreet's most recent estimate of Lionel's annual sales is $21.4 million (financials are not released by Guggenheim Partners, majority owner of Lionel). To put that in perspective, in 2006, Lionel's annual revenue was reported at $42 million. That's a 50% drop over the last 14 years. I...

Kramer (or like) Baseball Figures
I'm looking for a couple of sets (i.e., two different teams) of Kramer (or similar) o gauge baseball figures. I think they came in packs of ten figures.
If you have a couple of packs stashed away, and would like to part with them, let me know.
Thanks!

Mike Wolf will live long in the hobby ... but the bad karma will live far longer.

Re: Williams Electric Trains
I think Lionel did not worry about cottage industry knockoffs that didn't use their trade dress. Always a mystery why they went after some small producers, and not MTH, when MTH was directly copying their iconic products. Guess they didn't like using lawyers as much as Mike Wolf did. He never saw a...

Re: The AOL Boards and who has survived
I'll put that money towards eventually having a real layout :). I wish Alan well; he seems like a decent and thoughtful fellow and it appears that OGR is doing well in terms of pages and advertising revenue, which is good for the hobby. Still like the CTT aesthetics better and enjoy the articles on...

Re: The AOL Boards and who has survived
I think, Neil, that you should "live large and bold" and buy a sponsorship on the OGR Forum. Alan, the new moderator (and owner), might squeeze you in.

Re: MTJ PostWar Photo Library
is this what you are looking for? http://postwarlionel.com/ If not, try searching archive.org for for the appropriate URL's. It may still be available but at a different address? Thanks, Chuck! Great and very useful resource that I think I'll have to use, but it's not the MTJ one. I guess the MTJ t...

MTJ PostWar Photo Library
Some years ago, members of the MTF Forum created one of the most comprehensive (and easy to use) photo library of PostWar Lionel in an on-going thread. I found it to be really useful in that it contained pix of Lionel pieces from all over the country - not to mention from a variety of collections. A...

Until a 7-8 years ago, I used to see him at York. Haven't heard anything from/about him in several years.
Could be a concern.

Re: 2020 Catalog Looks Great
I ordered a BUNCH of SP stuff. Three SP locs, trains, cars, - the order just went on and on. PLUS the Taco Stand @ <$80.
I'm sure it will all end up on my doorstep at Christmas. I may need a loan.
