Re: Hobo Jungle

Roger, the doctors had to operate on a couple of bad discs in Hev's lower back. Exactly right, that was the goal of the surgery, but if it were just that, Hev would have been doing the 'Texas Two-Step' by now. Before they could do the repair, they had to chip out and extract old rods that he had in...

Re: Hobo Jungle

Pete,

Thanks for the link on the firecrackers. That is amazing coordination and teamwork. When my son played tennis in college, his coach had daily drills they did with jump ropes to improve their foot work on the tennis courts.

Re: Hobo Jungle

This one is about being in jail down South. But check out the photo of the car D colorized. http://waldo.villagesoup.com/opinion/story.cfm?storyID=173487 Tramp ... Re: Hobo Jungle

Tramp,

So sorry to hear about your Mother passing away last week. :(

Our Mothers always have a special spot in our hearts.

My Mother died 26 years ago and I still think of her everyday.

Re: Hobo Jungle

Fireflies/lightningbugs.One of the few things I miss about the North. Roger, Never thought of lightning bugs as a northern thing. Here in the Atlanta area I have been seeing them in my backyard every evening lately. Also when I lived down in Jacksonville, FL we had them all the time during the summ...

Re: Hobo Jungle

Tramp, IMO it will not get through Congress in a really usable form. And, it shouldn't. Least not 'til Congress recinds the trillion they've blown on the union payback, (I'm sorry, I meant so called stimulus). Christ, I'm so sick of hearin' Obama, God's gift to the United States. Oh thank you, Lord...

Re: Hobo Jungle

I keep reading this in our local police blotter. What does it mean anyway? Angie Soucy, 30, of Unity, was summoned for negotiating a worthless instrument. Daisy, As Roger said, she was probably guilty of writing bad checks. "Instrument" is used in place of the words document or agreement....
