Mike As always in the City your mileage will vary. Had an Apartment at 420 East 54th for 7 years and never once saw the street plowed. Cabs and Car Services would refuse to venture in and leave you on 1st Avenue & 54th to walk home. The street washer did come down at least twice annually during ...

Tramp Given all the turnip greens, kale, creezy greens and spinach we grew and Mom made me eat [ during the Great Depression] I should have been in porno movies instead of the textile business. Really tough work in a hostile climate and emergency environment---very rough on humans and equipment alike. Are those "fast dump" tankers emptying into the porta-tanks?
