Just finished grilling some fake andouille sausage, washing it down w/ some Ravat home brew. The Ravat grapes were official Finger Lakes NYS. Just finished the salads and a turkey is in the oven for Greg's graduation party tomorrow. Cooking is just about done. As of 6:55 pm life is good!

Jon, I tried your jerk mop as a chicken marinade yesterday, let it sit in it all day. Wonderfully tasty, moist and tender after grilling. Good idea from a Geneva lad. Much appreciate the recipe. I have to confess, I just had to change the ingredients a bit, had to add wine. I can't cook w/o wine.

Jon, I can understand the use of whipped cream, but mustard is probably too kinky even for a witch.

Right, I don't think they would stay in synch for more than one start up or through more than the first tight curve that would cause some different rates of slippage between the two engines.

Looks like a builder's photo. The pin up photos were almost always posed with the drivers down. Kinda like waist in, chest out, head back w/ slight tilt and come hither smile.

Jon don't cry in your beer. I like the additional detail of the newer cast pieces better than that era's Williams brass. Also, I think that it does not have a flywheel on the motor = very poor running loco.

Yeah guys, count me in wishing I could be there, at least for a little while.

Really bugs us NYC fans to read the stories of the Nickle Plate berks pulling their reefer and fast freights catching and passing the NYC passenger trains where the Nickle Plate and NYC tracks ran parallel.

PS: Pete I know that your posts were your opinion, but I think that politicizing a natural disaster is an insult to the dead, homeless, responders and volunteers.
