Happy Friday! Sorry for the late post, but I've been in Ohio all day & just got back & settled in the hotel for the night. Found some time this week to paint the board & make it look all pretty. Also cut in the holes for the accessories. Planning on replacing the plasticville house with ...

Happy Friday! It's technically Fall ( even though it's in the 90s!) and train season is creeping closer ! After getting requests from the kids for more action, I spent the last week trying to come up with a better track plan that included 2 trains, added a few more accessories & kept the farm ( ...

You guys beat me to it this week! Don't have any photos, but I've been working on the layout this week to add an elevated level & some more accessories while still keeping a semi hi rail appearance (it's tough!). Also picked up a few more MPC items. Should have some pics next week. OLS decorated...

Barring space for another loop, operating accessories are always a possibility for fun for kids of all ages. Can rotate different accessories in a spot if only one space is available. Gantry crane and oil barrel loader are two of the favorites. Always liked the culvert loader/unloader but not very ...

Happy Friday Busy week at home, so no work done on the layout ( Didn't even get to run them much), but I did pick up this near mint Lake Shore Limited set. I'm really loving these old MPC trains. So much nostalgia for me from when I was a kid. You can find them cheap, they are colorful & they ju...

Happy Friday! Didn't really get anything done on the board this week, but I did pick up a mint, still sealed Milwaukee Limited set. Those MPC collector sets are pretty cool & can be had for almost nothing these days. Also found a spare 252 gate that I threw on the board & installed. https://...

Happy Friday! I was able to paint the barn this week - looks MUCH better than having it all white. Still have to add window glazing & paint the floor. The barn is a favorite of both my daughters who love cows & horses. Hooked up the UCS track for the Milk platform too. ( As much as I don't l...

Happy Friday! After trying to decide if I should match the trim or the wall, my wife & kids suggested I match the trim, so I painted the board trim white this week https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48647259733_315cbfa28b_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48647261923_d2b6d650d7_b.jpg ht...

I may be the only one that doesn't know but why is 611 going to Strasburg?
They are doing a month of photo charters, etc. I'll be up there in October to see her

Happy Friday! Didn't get a ton done this week, as I was sick for a few days & the kids went back to school this week. I added a painted 145 gateman by the farm crossing for some action, put up the frame for the backdrop & added the framing around the edge of the layout. https://live.staticfl...
