What's New on the PRR Panhandle 2.0?

That show is returning this Fall. I hope so. It's wonderful having a show that has the name "shameless" and has the worst, most shameful father one can imagine. I love it. It's like intellectual-slumming with the worst of 'em.

Gee, I only have to visit some of relatives for that experience.

I may be the most normal one of the lot of us - insanity does not run through my family. Rather, it strolls through, taking its time, getting to know everyone personally.

Hmm. This used to be a nice thread where I talked about building my layout.

Now I feel like the inmates are running the asylum.

Back to trains. Updated 8/2/2018:

A kid's issue consumed Monday and Tuesday (getting them moved into a new apartment). Yesterday was spent recovering and treating aches and pains from places I didn't know I had muscles.

While I was gone on Tuesday, my wonderful supportive wife moved all the 2x2's (all 513 linear feet of them) from the garage to the humidity controlled basement.

Today, I marked all of them with their lengths, which will be used to assemble the bench work ribbing.

Also, the corrected sections of backdrop arrived today. Tomorrow I will inspect them.

They always have......but the Nurse will take care of everything

1. Regarding your talking about building your layout, of course, that would be very interesting to witness. However, including photos with your narrative would deepen the experience for all, as you well know. May I suggest that continue with vigor?

I am fortunate enough to be in contact with several PRR Panhandle modelers (HO) who are willing to share resource materials and information.

I probably will attempt it. There's nothing commercially available that's even close. I don't have plans, just some photos and reference material.

It's been a busy morning. With my wife's help, I got the last 2 sections of masonite backdrop divider in place.

Oh, I also had some help from Motor Inspector Samantha.
