Dirt,
I don't care about your attacks... I understand why you are doing it.
If anything worthwhile is to come out of this... I would like you to understand that... words, and labels carry real consequences for the recipient(the person labeled). Also, unscrupulous people, including some in the medical profession, can take advantage of their position, and authority for ulterior motives.
Please keep this in mind.
To be honest... I wish we were still talking about the UFC, and bugs and stuff... but we aren't.

Rick,
I have also a message directly for you, and it is this:
(if I may quote someone with whom I want no fight)...

I'm ready, we are ALL ready, to go back to the UFC and bugs and stuff, whenever you are.

Re: Hobo Jungle
Rick, I removed that post and apologized there, and I apologize again here. I regret if I've caused any hurt.
If I could, I'd shake your hand and buy you a beer.

Re: Hobo Jungle
Dirt,
No need to remove anything or apologize... scrapping is scrapping.
I'm sure you would see where I am coming from... if you knew my story, but that can't happen.
I didn't start with any negative intentions, but I did turn on the charm/started hitting back once the scrap was on.
Bottom line... up until this issue, I have always thought of you as a great guy... someone I looked forward to talking with... a friend.
My hand is going a few thousand miles to shake yours, and I am sorry.

As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

Tramp, A short but sweet 4 day pass for LD!!!!! Greeted by a loving family to also include my old uncle Ezra Brooks and Sam Adams!!!!
I'm seeing that you Maine folk are enjoying weather in the 60's already!!!!! How I envy you!!!!!!!
Hey Dirt, falling right into this disscusion of unstable people, what catagory would you put a person in that pays off a 1,600.00 semi-auto carbine only to put a 2,000.00 one on lay-a-way.

Re: Hobo Jungle
Wayne, I'll graciously take you up on that drink! It's been a long 20 days of training and things are fixin' to ramp up even more.
Tramp, I think you're still two beers behind me. You need to step up the pace!
Damn straight, Bro! You laid the foundation to this hobo refuge and we've been building it and friendships one block at a time. I couldn't have stumbled in to a better group of tramps.

Re: Hobo Jungle
Jon, do I hear the squeak of the beverage-cart wheels or is that the air escaping from your blowup doll again?
Hurricane finally cooled things down last night. Quite a rain. Now the sun is back out.

Re: Hobo Jungle
Yeah brother bo's, I meant my beer and poetry post to go here, didn't realize that changing the title would automatically create a new thread! How dumb is that? Obviously time to start better living through modern chemistry or failing that, a beer but the suns not yet over the yardarm...no, it is! Well fine then, off to the deli we go!
FROM A RAILWAY CARRIAGE,
by Robert Louis Stevenson
Faster than fairies, faster than witches,
Bridges and houses, hedges and ditches;
And charging along like troops in a battle,
All through the meadows, the horses and cattle:
All of the sights of the hill and the plain
Fly as thick as driving rain;
And ever again, in the wink of an eye,
Painted stations whistle by.
Here is a child who clambers and scrambles,
All by himself and gathering brambles;
Here is a tramp who stands and gazes;
And there is the green for stringing the daisies!
Here is a cart run away on the road
Lumping along with man and load;
And here is a mill and there is a river:
Each a glimpse and gone for ever!
