Awaiting a storm, hoping for a storm, please, a storm, at least a few drops, anything. The weather has been so sublimely cheerful and radiant these past days, we're hankering for some rain, that fresh scent of arriving ozone. All the seeds need it and I want to fertilize my trees (5-10-10). I'm doing my rain ritual, which is to drink as much beer as cold as I can manage without the beer being frozen. Hey, I'm trying.

Dam. I miss Willy. Hope he has a good one. Probably holed up with some hot, sultry, ... oh never mind.

Wait. I think I found him. He's teaching Salsa in the UK http://www.dance-cubana.co.uk/

Road trip tomorrow in the rain. Headed for Jon's old young grounds. Let me buy a Friday night round. Ring the bell, bartender.

Jon, The tach strip for the EOB blew off and the tether is afu. Not your fault. It pays to have friends at TAS. Almost bought another at York.

This round is on me

Kurt, I hate to hear that. It was always one of my sweetest runners. I have a 3rd Rail Postwar version still boxed up that I never opened. I guess I need to pull it out for an operational check. BTW, the guys at TAS are some top notch fella's. That's one of the beauties of owning a 3rd Rail engine- if Gary can't fix you up(which he goes out of his way to do)- the guys at TAS can also get you up and running again.

Tramp, Thanks for the round! Have a safe trip!!!! :D

Kurt, I would consider trading it for a 3rd Rail Pre-war. But I've got to keep at least one Pennsy K4 on my roster!!!!!! :D
