Yes, and I think over population is a major factor for many of our problems today, from global warming to health issues. But, nothing is/will be done about it, so mother nature will eventually step in and take a hand and it may be much stronger that any of us think or care to experience. Doesn't affect too much of us on this forum directly, but certainly affects our children and grandchildren and that upsets me greatly.

I don't know that it's overpopulation as much as poor distribution of population combined with a misuse / waste of resources. Re-alignment would address many problems.

......... but certainly affects our children and grandchildren and that upsets me greatly.

Very few are capable of forward thinking and prefer to think it's all someone else's problem to solve someday off in the future. Too many are in denial that they could/should do anything at all.

I don't see it as "new."

Humans, from the beginning*, have created a mess of problems. We make too many humans, we don’t feed each other properly, we bicker, we argue, we wage war, and we willfully deny so much of reality – we make ignorance into a vocation.

*Eve, speaking to a snake, "God has said about the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden: ‘You must not eat from it, no, you must not touch it; otherwise you will die.’”

The snake responds, “You certainly will not die. For God knows that in the very day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and bad.”

Eve believed what a snake told her and ate the fruit from the middle of the garden. Eve got Adam to eat of the fruit also.

We all die despite our bodies ability to fight disease and replace worn out cells. Why? According to the bible it is because humans are stupid. They would rather believe a lie over the truth.

How about this "news" on Covid-19: To Prevent Three Deaths, COVID Jab Kills Two.
--Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola

Dr. Mercola's statement is backed up by statistics on Covid-19 deaths but how will stupid humans understand the math behind the statement?

Why do you wise ones waste your time talking to the stupid ones, including me, when you say we won't/can't learn?

Not wise; not hardly, and not something I would lay claim to either. I am but an egg. And I know that you're far, far away from stupid.

There does however seem a segment that eschews education as being arrogant and/or elitist. Used to be part of the dream; get an education and advance.

"How about this "news" on Covid-19: To Prevent Three Deaths, COVID Jab Kills Two.

This is total nonsense. Not a shred of scientific truth to it. This is what Google has to say about Joseph Mercola, who has no credentials or experience in infectious disease, public health or epidemiology.

"Joseph Michael Mercola is an American alternative medicine proponent, osteopathic physician, and Internet business person. He markets controversial dietary supplements and medical devices, Mercola operated the "Dr. Mercola Natural Health Center" in Schaumburg, Illinois."

In other words, he's a charlatan. And like most charlatans, he profits significantly from his monstrous lies and stupidity from people who succumb to his lunacy.

From the Washington Post, he's an anti-vaxxer. In other words, either a lying dog or a misguided, if well intentioned purveyor of ignorance and misinformation.

Read today, we are generating 2.6 humans per second world wide. Unsustainable.

It took 1900 years to get to 1 billion humans. But only 1hundred years to get to 9 billion.

As the population of the earth increased so did global warming...

not only that but humans are trashing the earth at a fantastic rate.

How many die per second?

I found the answer. 1.8 die per second. We gain 0.8 people per second

Then by those numbers overall the population is not increasing.

Yep, looks like net gain of .8 humans per second, unless you're factoring in something else.
