Tramp, I agree about the subtle brass detailing. But I'm still pretty pleased to have the Lionel version on my roster. It sure beats dreaming about one!!! I asked Scott Mann if one might be in the future, but he was kind of reluctant to give me an answer. Something about not even enough orders for the Empire State Express, let alone a Dreyfuss. Maybe Weaver will beat him to it. I just can't justify spending a grand on a brass locomotive without at the very least the first version of TMCC.

Jon, didn't you pass up one of those for fairly cheap? What's with the monster tag?

Dennis, just wanted to see if you were alive.

Tramp, Actually I wound up getting outbid on the engine. I remember the person selling it said it was'nt running properly with a couple of minor paint scuffs and a ladder had broke off the tender. You and I figured a max bid of 450.00. I believe it went for 550. or 600.

Waiting for the birthday lad. Jon, I'm beginning to believe you have a great roster of engines these days.

Hell. I started celebrating Jon's Birthday without him. Surf and turf. BBQ ribeyes and Salmon on a cedar blank (marinated in Mr. Yoshida's Sauce). Fingerling spuds parboiled and then set on the Q for grill marks. Stuffed mushrooms, Haricot d' Vert (tender crisp), and Iceberg wedge salad with homemade Caesar and garlic lemon buttered toast points.

And now, for the real party, I am breaking out the Idaho Gold (TM). Dufus sent down a tank car of it and there are spigots mounted on the side of the tank.

Nude women are everywhere for Jon's birthday.

Happy Birthday Jonny boy, (isn't today the actual day?), from P&R and the Redhead!

So, how many "noogies" on the "head" are you getting from your wife this year?

Many happy returns of the day!
