That he managed to get himself in trouble and injured in such an environment tells a great deal about him. Reckless adventurer?

I wonder if the wildlife present were keeping a dubious eye on him.

The 2nd is a beach on one of the islands in the Caribbean; forgotten which one (St. Maartens?) but that's completely normal there. Beach is right on the flight path for landing.

The little green car driving across a runway, what would possess a driver to attempt such a boneheaded move? It has been my experience that it is difficult to simply drive up to the front door of the terminal building , let alone reach the runway(s) !
