I am all out of SP steam. It is all here and on display, along with the Cab Forward thread.

Yes, this has been a very enjoyable turn through your SP stable.

I'd have to wonder how many others have such a selection to share. But, I'm willing to wait & see while I get started building my next car,

I'm afraid that most of my loco roster consists of commercial models, which not as interesting as your (Turner's) scratchbuilt versions.
However, I do have a smattering of kit-built and scratch-built models that I picked up at shows, auctions, etc.
I may get off my rear end and get a picture of my Lobaugh cab forward to post here (but I need to iron out the whole image-hosting
kluge as I don't want to post the images here "Board attachment limit..."!)

I thoroughly enjoy seeing your locomotives, Bob...even though I mainly have been only lurking these past few months!
Keep on posting 'em!!
Take care,
Wolfgang

Somebody started a Lobaugh thread on NK. - easier to post photos there. I was thinking of posting more photos as well, but interest waned.

Don't know NK well enough to navigate it well...but I am also not a member, so I couldn't post there anyway...
Take care,
Wolfgang

It died - the thread, not the forum.

I think there are a couple more SP-like locomotives to add, maybe, to this thread. I probably did a Baldwin 60000 thread here, and know I did one on OGR, but I note that the 60000 did climb the hill to Truckee on the SP, with an oil conversion and an SP tender. So I offer my 17/64 version here, once again, hoping I am not repeating too much.

Yes, this thing runs well, and yes it has operating triple Walschaerts and a center rod. And yes, it is still purple as it sits on my shelf, due to rumors that the original Baldwin paint was purple. I chose a very dark purple with lots of weathering, to avoid any notions of a toylike model.

Also, the SP tender is lettered in gold - because someone found a preserved 120 C tender with either gold or dulux lettering under many layers of black, and I think the SP might have done that to match the gold on the cab.

Goes without saying that the real 60000 still exists, well protected, in the Franklin Museum in Philadelphia - black and gold.

The thread should still be there. They just don't allow additional posts, which seems silly to me!
