Woody had me put an MTH on a Scale Craft frame. I forget how it turned out, but he was happy. I shall look now . . .

I think the problem with the Lionel shell on the SC frame might be where to put a motor. It might need to go in the tender. That Lionel shell is the old K-line scale K4 shell and both used the odd forward slanted motor if I'm not mistaken. Other than that it seems to sit on there real nice, the length is about perfect over the cylinders to the front edge of the fire box and back to the tail.

Aircraft Spruce, my supplier of choice since 1972, just stated that they can no longer depend on the Post Office.
Postage for a small packet of bolts was three bucks, more or less. Now ten bucks on UPS.
