Yes, indeed, but I'm not sure where that is.

OK. Fair enough, especially since , as it happens, I have been busy, just now, trying to figure out where that is.

Another view.

I would think this would be on the Red Line but it is not... it is on the Blue Line.

Round about way to a question.
I live in the Savannah, GA area and see beautiful photos of that city in magazines quite often.
Many of the areas pictured we have visited and even have taken the photo source with us on
that visit. Some how it does not quite look the same in person as in the photos. Something is
missing. We can't pin it down but brilliance of the colors in the photos seems to be missing in
person. Finally to my question.
Do the photos shown above actually look as nice in person?

I should have said do the scenes in the photos above actually look as nice when seen in person?

Still, no.

Here is Ramses Station at night with no photoshopping.

Ramses Station daytime, no photoshopping.

Naples, Toledo Metro Station with no photoshoping.

The bluish, cavern-like mosaic that envelops the escalator was created by piecing together millions of tiny tiles on the walls, ceiling and pillars. An oval-shaped opening alternates between a blue and turquoise glow, giving it the look of a giant, dyed egg. Since your eyes can see the individual tiles, the effect in person is not the same as in a small photograph.

The tiles.
Image
You can see the tiles in person but the blue light coming down the tube has overwhelmed the camera sensor giving an appearance not seen by our eyes. Our eyes compensate for bright light by adjusting the pupil to a smaller diameter.

Thanks, very much, Wayne , for all those reality-checks and explanations on those stations. I appreciate when I am told the plain, unvarnished truth.
