Too many hints.....

Yes & yes - 440 lbs, so I guess it outweighs Murph by a smidge.

No, not quite.............but there are some lyrics of the song that do apply - probably terribly oblique hint there,

Almost hate to admit it and I don't know why but that song seemed to have just about everything in it that early rock had.
I didn't like early rock,or middle or late for that matter, but sorta liked this. :?

A new Whatzit Murph?

I guess your Whatzit is, you wonder what that huge thing hanging from the chains is?

It is a blue whale's heart.

For reference here is my heart.

Image

It was removed for repairs in 2004. I was connected to an external pump while it was out of me, so I was able to take the photo of it just before it was sent to the Tucson Heart Hospital for a rebuild. Does it resemble a whale's heart?

My heart was only gone for eight hours. When it came back the surgeon sewed it back into my chest and it is still working fine today, 14 years later.

That whale's heart was removed from a dead whale and not put back in. It looks in pretty bad shape. The whale must have been dead long enough to start rotting.

My heart was so small the doctor held it in one hand. The whales heart is not bigger than you, but it is huge. Here is a video of a blue whale's heart in a stainless steel tank.:=> https://youtu.be/kJnKuw7Wvz4

Outstanding Whatzit, Wayne. And the autobiographical episode, in explanation, is stunning. You have shared with us, so matter-of-factly, something so important that I am not sure how to react, other than to say, most sincerely, I'm glad you made it through that journey, able to be with us here today.

So, since I cannot imagine any other Whatizit coming anywhere near the drama and mystery of that heart puzzle, here's an easy one, which I'll just call as "pizzle," given the gravitas of the previous one, and which good ol' Wayne will probably get right away, plus, maybe even Roy, too, given geography 'n all (hint).

A bundle of rattlers in your back yard that you imported from the West to deter the deer, bears, and coyote incursions

Rufus is too fast for me today. He got it right off the bat.

I can add to his answer. It is a symbol on a pulpit from which the gospel lesson is given. (Murph might call the pulpit the "ambo.")

Addressing Rufus's answer, man doe use religion to oppress man, which can cause many to mistrust religion and God's instruction manual for humans.

"...man has dominated man to his harm.*

What inspired you to make that interpretation, Wayne?

It looks like a pulpit. Rufus interpreted the symbology.

Image

The image is used on a book by Regina A. Boisclair named, "The Word of the Lord at Mass: Understanding the Lectionary."
The image is of the ambo (pulpit) at the Bitonto Cathedral in Italy.

True that.
Would you teach me how you found that exact pulpit (ambo) with just the fragments I provided?
