Life is complicated. And just tonight I watched a program that stated scientists now have doubts about whether Black Holes exist, as an "event horizon around a collapsed star." And all this just when I finally had a handle on "understanding" that nothing can leave one, says General Relativity (Einstein). Ssshhheeeeesh ! I never dreamed they'd change their minds about Black Holes existing! What a gyp!
Then, pile onto that pile my being reminded tonight of David Bowie's performance of his last song in Lazarus: "Black Star," where he sings, "I've got nothing left to lose," sung as he is well aware he is dying, and does, a very short time later.
PLUS, I suspect my trains have stopped derailing when I have guests in the trainroom (!) Whatthe...? I thought that was a rule - derailments when we have guests. Only.
How am I supposed to figure all this stuff out?

Nearly unbelievable, the stuff you read on a model train forum. My recollection (amazing that I have any given the beatings endured) is that the archangel Gabriel is the patron saint of communications. If you've got an iPhone addiction, best pray to him.
There is only one "archangel" and it is not Gabriel. See Jude 1:9.

In the Catholic Canon of Scripture there are three: Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. I seem to recall the Quran featured four: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and one more. It's like the U. S. Constitution, mate...all open for interpretation (yes, that's me with a firm grip on the third-rail, lol).

That is a good idea. I've never had anything there and it is appropriate.
Now how do I get it there?

Archangel Uriel --> the angel of wisdom
Actually, I recall from my reading that there were 7...........but that was reduced to 4 out of convenience to place one at each cardinal point.
Lots of editing over the centuries for convenience......
As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

Well, at least, anthropologists and archaeologists found physical evidence of that story, including the "Gilgamesh" literature from a different culture to support it.
World ocean level rose and rushed in thru Gibraltar, into the Mediterranean Sea, raising it, which then overflowed into the Black Sea, thru the Istanbul isthmus area. Black Sea level rose significantly, as a result, permanently inundating what, to those people at that time may well have been "the whole world."
That's the hypothesis that has been formulated in support of "The Flood" story.

Re: Seen in Print
The fourth was..."Bombanishus"
From Designing Women. The character Anthony played by the late Meshach Taylor talking to (I think) Delta Burke:
"Our relationship, reminds me of a story about a black handy man who worked for a white family. One day the lady of the house said, "I want to write you a check, but I don't know how to spell Bombanishus."
The handy man replied, " I've been meaning to speak with you about that. When you hired me, I told you my name, and I said, 'But you can call me By My Initials."
Probably the only episode I watched, wife loved it, but then again she was from Mississippi and related to the show.

Well, I must admit, I hadn't heard that version. Mercifully.

Yes, and the ancient aliens who dressed like Nazi's also caused the last three extinction events. It must be true because I saw it on the History channel.

I didn't see the Nazi uniform part, but I may have seen those same shows. They made me wonder just how far the dinosaurs would have evolved had that asteroid not hit. It was certainly an important moment for the small mammals, wasn't it. O' course, it could all have been The Hand, including use of possible aliens, or natural astrological happenings, directing the entire production, huh.
Let's give Him some credit, even if it is a strain for some. If He could invent an entire Universe, He could probably figure out a detail like helping evolution out a bit, here n' there.
Sooner or later, we are going to need a helping Hand.

Probably applied upside the head.....accompanied by a loud voice proclaiming, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!!".
