Hondo, it's very simple. If you agree with a liberal, it's freedom of speech. If you disagree, it's hate speech. 
If you agree with the Progressives, it's freedom of speech. If you disagree, it's hate speech. There are no alternatives.

I don't know what to make of the man in the Bentley. I thought he was just writing on a tablet but now that I look closer it appears he has head trauma. Politics in Moldova (the country) is rough. I can say that the man is not Renato Usatii. This is Usatii:

Renato Usatii is the mayor of Balti, Moldova. He ran on a platform of removing Russian corruption from Balti. When he showed up driving the Bentley he was accused of purchasing the car with money from the “Russian laundry.” The local "krisa" took exception to the Bentley and told the press, "We voted him to make order in the city, not to go shopping with expensive cars and live on facebook," says Gheorghe Proca, a member of our Party in Balti, rhetorically. To which his friend, Vasile Karamalac, adds even more nervously: "This time he escaped cheaply, we just took out the wheels from the car. If he does not change his attitude, we'll give him home next time. Nobody is playing with us! We have kept the Krisa in Bălţi since the time when Renatik was a mucosa and worked as a cabinet counselor at Filat."
You might have a problem with my translation in a couple of places.
"Give him home," in Romanian (they speak Romanian in Moldova) means something like, "Give him cement shoes," does in the USA.
"Krisa " is the "roof", the protection you need in any situation. Krisa is the organized band in the neighborhood that protects you from any other band.
I think Utsatii got the hint, he now stays in Russia. As mayor of Bălți, formally he is in a business travel.

Never stated anything about hate speech. There's just free speech as far as I know.
Anything less than free speech, and this isn't the USA anymore. It's not liberal vs. conservative let's blame the other side stupidity; it's our Constitution.
