Funny, I read that three times and saw, "...bringing men to heat."

I understood my misunderstanding. Now that I understand I don't understand.

heal
verb
(of a person or treatment) cause (a wound, injury, or person) to become sound or healthy again.

Like perking up the oldest old man who watched their movies?

Aw yes. You got it - the play on words (concepts) , such as in "the healing touch" that love and making love can bestow, and the idea of head-bowed obedience (being brought to heel = obedience). You clever etymologistic linguist.
However, "being brought to heat" was beyond clever, so I can't claim credit for that alternative interpretation . Real clever, man.

Somewhere between the bikini and the burka there are places of good taste and better self-presentation for women, places of self-liberation, and self-expression, of moral behavior. I believe. Everything does not have to be hanging out to gain notice.

Isn't there something to be said for understatement ?

Women who pose nude in playboy are being objectified. Women who pose nude on twitter are being empowered. go figure.

"Pants" is plural, she is only wearing one pant. And the problem I have with it is the tucked in the boot pant leg. One pant in the boot signifies she owns one cow. (If she had pants on and both pant legs tucked in she would have two or more cows.) I prefer to see the pant worn outside the boot because I doubt she owns any cows.

Wayne, your OCD is gettin' bad. You're gonna have to see someone about that!

In the context of clothing, I don't believe the word "pant" exists. I would suggest she's wearing half a pair of pants. A cheeky lass, that one.

Definition of pants

1 or less commonly pant, chiefly US: an outer garment covering each leg separately and usually extending from the waist to the ankle a pair of pants wearing short/long pants

—often used before another noun a pants leg

—sometimes used in the singular form--pant, especially before another noun and in clothing catalogs a pant leg - a classic khaki pant

I suspect what you actually are trying to say is: bring men to HEEL.

As in dog obediance training terminology:

Next in our series of basic bird dog obedience commands is the all important "heel" command. To our dog, the command simply means "walk right beside until I tell you otherwise".

I agree with you fully. There is some responsibility when "putting oneself out there" (literally) to not get so shocked and awed when a man is looking at your bosom, for example, and you respond by accusing him of objectifying you. Well, it is objects you are presenting with all kinds of fabric arrangements (or the lack of presence), colors, jewels (for that extra sparkle and lookahere value.....(.did I leave anyhting out?) to which I would add: vapid, vacuous, and vain.

If a woman wants a demure, tasteful, non-cheap, and non-ogling effect, she can wear something chosen for its value in presenting her as non-"objectifiable," yet still attractive and even beautiful. A string bikini is a choice, as is a thong. Some men are non-stoppable, out there, so it makes sense to be a little thoughtful in the presentation, I believe, and in ones intention.

Some women apparently had asked themselves what men were after, and what they had to meet that requirement. Take for example, Rita Hayworth (Think: "Gilda");' Sophia Loren; Marilyn Monroe (Think: "Some Like It Hot"). They knew exactly what men were after and used that knowledge with great skill in bringing men to-heal. They made millions just by saying "Hi!" in their own particular way. No phony protests or compliant about being objectified . They smiled , pointed the way, and collected their checks, and rightly so.

You guys sure were quick to blame the woman. It is not always what the model wants to wear, but what men want her to wear for a photo shoot. The model is 22 year old Ryan Destiny Irons. Maybe these clothes are more acceptable to old fogies?

I am pretty unflappable when I can see things that I should be scared of.
Something just landed on the roof and was flapping around loudly.
I was a little leery about going outside to see what it was.
What ever it was, was gone when I looked.
I can fully understand this cats reaction to a noise in the kitchen.
