Thank you, Rufus.

Welcome to the exciting new world of Progzilla Radio!

The UK’s first dedicated progressive music radio network!

Right now they are playing boring digital music with lazy ocean waves as background.

Opps, and thunder! Could rain drops be far behind. Good for peaceful background music.

Yeah, on Sat. there's an electronic music show -- most of the time pretty good, but then there are times when I wonder......

I do like the electronic music particularly when working writing articles and reviews

Try the station some other time though - some good prog stuff usually.

My score: Wait till I stop crying and I will come up with a score for this one. Diana Krall really got to me.

I have been thinking about a score for Diana Krall and decided I cannot give here a score. She is way above any number from 1 to 10.
I realize this is just personal for me, Krall is so soulful, she reaches the deepest feelings in my heart. Moreover, half of what she sings reminds me of my wife Mary and our 38 years of marriage.

Just one example:
Diana Krall - Temptation (Live at Union Station, Toronto 2004)

Mary and I visited Toronto on our 25th wedding anniversary. She said it was our 2nd honeymoon. Mary signed us up for a trip to Niagra Falls. She was the romantic.

I remember eating lunch at Union Station. And one evening walking through Union Station on our way to dinner at CN Tower's 350-meter (1148 feet) high revolving restaurant.

I have shown this photo of Mary before. In it, Mary is discovering her first Chicago Hot Dog at Chicago O'Hare Airport while waiting for the next flight to Toronto.

I agree. Krall's regular quartet, drummer Jeff Hamilton, guitarist Anthony Wilson and bassist John Clayton are outstanding for setting the mood. When even one is missing, the whole performance can be thrown off kilter. Case in point... http://www.eastbaytimes.com/2007/06/29/ ... g-drummer/

KT Tunstall "Black horse and a cherry tree" Tarantata==Wow!

A lot of strange foot work before she got started.
KT explains one of the devices she is stomping on:=> https://youtu.be/_dycuZbWWUI

Part two follows part one automatically.

No worries about a band member getting sick and his/her absence ruining a performance. KT and her electronic devices are a one man band.

Triva: Her father, David Tunstall, was a lecturer of physics at St. Andrews University. The title of her debut album Eye To The Telescope is a reflection of her experiences with scientific equipment at her father's laboratory.

I learned a new word. Tarantas is a cante libre (or tocque libre, if played as a solo), meaning that it lacks both a regular rhythmic pattern (compás, in flamenco terminology) and a regular rhythmic unit (or beat). It can be sung or played, but not danced. Taranto, conversely, has a regular 2/4 meter, and is danceable.

My opinion on Miley Cyrus

I believe Miley derailed her career with her on stage antics.

Miley Cyrus's net worth is estimated at $200 million in 2017. She earned $201 million from sold-out concerts and $76 million from endorsements.

Respect is worth more than $200M. Her antics detract from a truly great singing voice.

No, I can't, Robert. That maxi-extended-tongue part of her "performance" made her seem all the more sincere in her search for a scrotal sack to lick. (Not that that's necessarily a bad thong; I'm not criticizing; just making a description.) Her self-expression is her self-expression. Good for her. Trash to me. And that's MY opinion; my self-expression.

Miley Cyrus has said goodbye to her tongue-wagging, twerking days.

The “Malibu” singer said she decided to tone down her image after her sometimes shocking antics left her feeling exploited.

“It became something that was expected of me,” she said of her over-the-top fashion sense and wild persona in a new cover story for Harper’s Bazaar. “I didn’t want to show up to photo shoots and be the girl who would get my t–s out and stick out my tongue. In the beginning, it was kind of like saying, ‘F— you. Girls should be able to have this freedom or whatever.’ But it got to a point where I did feel sexualized.”

--which makes the song I posted a link to most appropriate.

"Lilac Wine"

I lost myself on a cool damp night
Gave myself in that misty light
Was hypnotized by a strange delight
Under a lilac tree
I made wine from the lilac tree
Put my heart in its recipe
It makes me see what I want to see
and be what I want to be
When I think more than I want to think
Do things I never should do
I drink much more that I ought to drink
Because (it) brings me back you...

Lilac wine is sweet and heady, like my love
Lilac wine, I feel unsteady, like my love
Listen to me... I cannot see clearly
Isn't that she coming to me nearly here?
Lilac wine is sweet and heady where's my love?
Lilac wine, I feel unsteady, where's my love?
Listen to me, why is everything so hazy?
Isn't that she, or am I just going crazy, dear?
Lilac Wine, I feel unready for my love...
