Did you guys buy all new furniture for the place? That's one of the things I remember from our move - the wife saying "Our old furniture looks like crap in here!" Ugh, misery...

No. We kept the bedroom furniture (master & others). We had gotten rid of the dining room and living room stuff before we moved. We have no dining room in the new house (waste of space, IMO); that is now the wife's antique / craft / sewing room. We did buy new living room furniture and some new appliances. That is finally done!

Yeah, if I were Christopher I'd be 30 years younger, still working, and raising 3 kids, too!

Judy and I were in Steubenville, OH today. These photos are taken from the site of the (now departed) Steubenville PRR station on N. Sixth.

Roger, please help me identify these buildings.

I think this might be the old Imperial Hotel.

You can see the cobblestone driveway of the station on the ground or maybe that is the filled in foundation of the station itself?

I wish I could help identify Steubenville stuff but I left that area in 1952 with maybe once a year visits until until @ 1960.
Since then it has been once a decade visits and I have not been back to eastern Ohio since a funeral about 15 years ago.
Even then when I visited my hometown, Bellaire, and other towns in the area have changed so much I don't recognize
places that I spent much time at/in.Buildings that were landmarks are gone. Very depressing.
Steubenville and Bellaire both have large railroad bridges that hopefully will be there another nearly 150 years.
Sorry I can't help identify those buildings.

I was thinking about Martins Ferry the other day-Zane Grey Days, the fabulous broasted chicken they served, and the swim meets. If I remember correctly, the pool (park?) was on Ohio 7 along the river.

Yes. As was almost everything along the Ohio side of the Ohio River unless it was up the hillside where it was the last time I was in the area.

Updated 6/30/2017:

Not a ton to report, but the spray booth arrived as two packages. I have not opened them yet. Assembly of the booth will have to wait for the other wall of pegboard to be completed. I'm expecting to work on that this week.

I found a place in Lisbon, OH (about 40 miles west of me) that will sell me the replacement handle for my Delta miter saw. The part is a generic as Delta no longer stocks parts for this saw. I figure it will be impossible to sell unless I repair it.

"I figure it will be impossible to sell unless I repair it." Even t will be impossible to sell. I have a Grizzly table saw and a Delta radial arm saw. for 3 months i had then on Craigslist. Nobody wanted them. I lowered my table saw to $65.oo and radial arm saw to $45. no takers. Not eve a tire kicker. I gave them to my neighbor. Here is the kicker. He keeps them in my shed

Well, Pittsburgh is a big market. And someone is always trying to score a bargain. Even if I get $65 or $50 for it, it's something.

I have a table saw that I bought at Lowes for $100.00.
I think they still have some for nearly the same price.
I take a lot of stuff, junk mostly, to our local auction.
I don't make much and I am not exactly giving it away.
The above mentioned table saw has worked very well
for me. I got my moneys worth. It is probably not good
enough for precision work but OK for me. When I don't
need it anymore it will go to the auction.
