Even more useful for opening twist-off beer-bottle caps. Also, other uses for the towel...

Too funny...but we digress.

I recently thought I'd spotted a rogue Bugblatter in my backyard. I installed motion-detected lighting and some trailcams back there. Come to find out it was just my neighbor's wife walking their dog whilst wearing her fur coat. Subsequently I had to withdraw my letter to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources reporting yet another invasive species...ugh.

If it had been a Bugblatter, do you think your neighbor's wife would have been better off with wearing a towel on her head ?

Probably be better off is she had a x-ray pumped laser for a defensive weapon.......probably not enough though, but towel usually works. I keep one in the car at all times while driving on the DC Beltway just for such an encounter with either a Bugblatter or a member of Congress. Not sure whiic is worse........

It always amazes me what amuses people.

Coincidentally, it's Mr. Poe's birthday this week and I shall be celebrating one of my favorite authors, a master of the American macabre & mystery, an initiator of what might be the detective story and also a bit of science fiction, and an all around inspiration.

Just in time for this week, too..........

Oh, the bells, bells, bells!
What a tale their terror tells
Of Despair!
How they clang, and clash, and roar!
What a horror they outpour

Yes but the bells are all cracked and the country is parting quicker then the Red Sea.

I remember when the Hobo Jungle was a happy place.
Do I need to change my place of interest?
OGR and CCT forums are out. Nothing happy there.
I have been to others but none have had the interplay
and happiness of MTJ.
As Jon and Tramp mentioned it has been a long time
since the drink cart has had a really good pass through
this area. I must admit that I don't partake as I once
did but a taste always raises the spirits.

Roger, some resent the joy and happiness of others. For their own failed lives, they want to destroy anything good. Hang in there, my friend. Time will weed them out.

I'd hope not!

All too true...

Indeed, and I will have a glass of a nice Gewurztraminer chilling in the fridge later today and another with dinner.

Nevermore!
