Very nice.
But your rivets seem to be smaller than some screws shown on a water tank in a different topic.
That's not right is it?

Well, I used Archer tank car rivet decals that are sold as O scale........maybe the others are just a little oversize,
Have to say that I like using these a lot! I'll be using these for some tank car projects that I have lined up in the future.

Mr. Firefly:
Can't tell from your pics, but did you apply the Archer rivet decals over bare wood, or is there a sealer of some kind applied before?
Anyway, nice work.

The containers carry the rivets and they are polypropylene - Archer rivets directly on that material post gloss coat and then red paint applied

Re: From the Firefly Shops.........
Ok, this one is done as far as I'm going on it.... That original layer of paint and some of the black that got on the sides just isn't going to go away -- I'm thinking this is a good candidate for some hard use weathering, Probably let it's net owner indulge in that path.

Black on the sides? You mean those little places at the bottom near the numbers? Adds character IMO.

Maybe so, and maybe the next owner will blend them in to some good weathering,
I also left the roof removable - no good reason for that, but another option left to the next owner,

Re: From the Firefly Shops.........
For reasons that escape me, or maybe just the rational ones, I decided that I needed to build reefer trolley. In that same vein, I also decided to make that a 4-wheel single truck car, too. Ok, I had the end castings handy and I had 1 last roof casting, so this expedites their use.....
But I did not have the sides, yet I did have RTV and casting resin in the shop for other projects, so one thing leads to another, or that's what the song claims.
One master from wood and Grandt Line parts..........

Re: From the Firefly Shops.........
Looks interesting. Any plans to offer it as a kit?
