Roger, Rufus, regarding the porch and the adjacent P.O., I tried to reply last night but my missive must have been excised by unknown forces.

The house porch floor and its roof are curved at both corners with what appears to be a 2 foot radius. The porch railings have been boxed in.

The adjacent P.O. has had its porch roof replaced in the last year with a flat floor and the left upstairs window has been cut out for a door. The roof is supported at its perimeter by a few wrought iron decorative "columns" that I would be afraid to use for a Purple Martin house. Hope there is not a good snow this winter!

That was what caught my eye about this photo card - seemed a little specialized in their stock, but maybe they were the only source within some distance then?

The guy sitting on the chair seems to be rather bored with the proceedings but the other three are almost smiling.

I wonder what the viewers of the future will think when they see to days photos with all the smiles and people "making faces"?
With most of todays photos being made digitally I wonder if there will really be many to look at.

Probably more given the ability to store and that memory is so cheap. Now whether any actually will convey any information worth looking at is someting entirely different.............
