Are you accounting for the slight angle in the sign? Are you also presuming a route that traverses the center; may not be the exact route. Adjust your dig a few degrees and see where you end up....and good luck with that dig, too!

Also location as you note plays a rather large part. And, no I don't know where that is other than probably somewhere where Km is used on signs.

Yesterday: Some serious bad guys called my wife on her new iPhone . Only a handful of people have the number from my wife. The caller directed my wife to respond to the caller's warnings about imminent federal prosecution or face immediate contact from a prosecuting attorney. They asked my wife's name, But my ever-alert wife asked why they needed to ask that if they , allegedly, had a case against her that required her immediate attention.
The phone number the bad guys had was: (1-347-584-8795).
I then called them using a different iPhone and they answered saying, "Treasury Department." I then invited them to insert various objects in various openings.
My wife, ever the clever gal, decided to Google that phone number . I urge you all to do so to gain an interesting and forewarning experience.

Is this the routine scam IRS call? Get that at least once a week....... What all too many folks do not know is that they never communicate by phone nor does the Treasury or any other of these offices.

I understand that the current call that is being made is to inform you that a relative has been kidnapped, etc......

If you google that number I provided here from my wife's adventure, a very, very interesting scenario, among other responses, is related by a law enforcement officer, explaining his proactive, aggressive response to those bad guys when they phoned him.

What an interesting turn of events in Pahrump, Nevada...

Diamond D's brothel began construction on an expansion of their building to increase their ever-growing business. In response, the local Baptist Church started a campaign to block the business from expanding -- with morning, afternoon, and evening prayer sessions at their church. Work on Diamond D's progressed right up until the week before the grand re-opening when lightning struck the whorehouse and burned it to the ground!

After the brothel burned to the ground by the lightning strike, the church folks were rather smug in their outlook, bragging about "the power of prayer."

But late last week 'Big Jugs' Jill Diamond, the owner/madam, sued the church, the preacher and the entire congregation on the grounds that the church ... "was ultimately responsible for the demise of her building and her business -- either through direct or indirect divine actions or means."

In its reply to the court, the church vehemently and vociferously denied any and all responsibility or any connection to the building's demise.

The crusty old judge read through the plaintiff's complaint and the defendant's reply, and at the opening hearing he commented, "I don't know how the hell I'm going to decide this case, but it appears from the paperwork, that we now have a whorehouse owner who staunchly believes in the power of prayer, and an entire church congregation that thinks it's all bullshit."

Thank you, both, for the education in this regard. Part of my posting this episode here was to warn my forum-mates; partly, I wanted to learn more. I had a feeling the interaction with the bad-guys would cost me, but I picked-up a scent and could not resist being aggressive in return. Yet, I suspected I'd end up helpless and unable to reach out and smack somebastard's face or find out where he parked his car.
P.S. So, when we get a call from an odd area code, and it is a number we do not recognize as having given our iphone numbers to, shall we just not answer, then? Does simply saying hello assure them of the warm body at the other end, then?

Well, working for us was our absolute conviction that there was nothing in our lives to warrant any warrant or conviction. So, we knew it was bogus, but it still pissedmeoff because of its boldness and smug, authoritative tone and way of speaking to my wife. That's what got by dander up.

Well, working for us was our absolute conviction that there was nothing in our lives to warrant any warrant or conviction. So, we knew it was bogus, but it still pissedmeoff because of its boldness and smug, authoritative tone and way of speaking to my wife. That's what got by dander up.

They count on being able to bully and intimidate you simultaneously --- sadly it works all too often on seniors and folks that simply don't know any better.
