That's a cult, right? Loosely organized but, nonetheless , recognizable readily, for participants as well as terrified onlookers.

To which above do you refer to? I guess possibly to both,
..to a select group of females who may inhabit the lives of unsuspecting, hapless males world-wide...(I know 'cause I've seen 'em portrayed in movies and on TV, so I figurez it's gotta be true, right? Eh? Huh? (Who dares say?)

Well, at least li'l lovable Raymond was interacting with another person, taking his face out from inside his whatever-device long enough to toss that lamp, not to mention making a play-on-words, literally, with it (the clever little bugger). That's a start.

Yes,I make an effort to be as warped
as possible, from time to time.

Given the condition and nature of the world these days, warped might actually be rising above the fray.....

Re: Seen in Print
Well, that is encouraging, Rufus.
I have often found myself wondering where, at 71+, I do fit in, exactly, still opening doors for women, standing when a Catholic priest enters a room, giving of my time, energies, and skills freely to others, and being filled with a profound sense of gratitude for everything I have been granted in life - my country; my religion; my wonderful family, all along; childhood and high school friends, several of whom are still actively in my life; my professional success; the overall adventure of my life, with its many crucial decisions and resulting changes, and the excellent medical care/facilities available in this area that have allowed me to still be here. Add to that more friends, and Life is Good!

Being in the middle of the bell curve is probably not where all too many of us here stand..........it's also a boring place, where little happens, no progress, no creativity, no original thought, herd mentality rules; think Orwellian.......
