Yes. Terrible to waste a perfectly good pie like that.

If so, I'd love to hear them pronounce those last three letters as the ending to that "word."

Re: Seen in Print
Why am I reminded, at this point, of Easter Island and those statues staring off into....????
Re: Seen in Print
It's just hard to know where to put all those letters in big words.
Kaz asks, "I am having the word "strenght" tatoo'd on my inner wrist - latin translation?"
Keyboard Warrior responds, "I'd stick away fron those latin words for permanent ink."

You old guys do realize English is a living language? If the populace uses incorrect spellings or phrases long enough, they become correct. Just look what happened to UK English vs USA English. Change in our language will stop one afternoon in your next reincarnation.*
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. --Genesis 11:1 (KJV)
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. --Genesis 11:7 (KJV)
And language has been interesting ever since.
Even the language of the King James Version of the bible has become difficult to understand. A better 2016 version of USA English for Gen 11:7 might be, "Come! Let us go down there and confuse their language in order that they may not understand one another’s language.”
*The Thai idiom: ชาติหน้าตอนบ่าย ๆ
Literal translation: “One afternoon in your next reincarnation.”
What it means: “It’s never gonna happen.”
Other languages this idiom exists in:
A phrase that means a similar thing in English: “When pigs fly.”
In French, the same idea is conveyed by the phrase, “when hens have teeth (quand les poules auront des dents).”
In Russian, it’s the intriguing phrase, “When a lobster whistles on top of a mountain (Когда рак на горе свистнет).”
In Dutch, it’s “When the cows are dancing on the ice (Als de koeien op het ijs dansen).”
And in USA Teen language, it's "Stop hopping."

Sorry, clown wins.=> https://youtu.be/s_nJkQROLCQ
It could be worse. How would you like to meet twenty clowns with pies in a narrow alley? How do you spell, "slaughter," in Portuguese... "CHACINA!"?
After the victims calm down they are offered money to allow the video to be shown on a local comedy TV show, the Silvia Santos Show:=> http://www.sbt.com.br/programasilviosantos/
Clown pranks are right up Rufus' alley, but this might amuse him even more:=> https://youtu.be/9sauksV6h8E

Re: Seen in Print
They'd have to offer me a Rolls Royce just to not prosecute for assault; plus, civil suing for redress for many additional factors of pain and suffering. Just 'cause it was a pie doesn't make it cute. What's next - cow pies? Yuk yuk yuk? And once I found out the clown's true identity, he would need to watch his back for the next 50yrs.
