We make such decisions all the time, don't we.
We execute the mission of our professional, working lives, doing what has to be done, adding our part to civilization and earning an income. Life is expensive.
At other times, we need quiet, re-energizing moments by/to ourselves, being creative or taking solitary walks, for example.
Sometimes, we can revel in the company of others. I can recall one such significant event, for me, when I made the effort to travel into Pennsylvania to meet Pete (the Dirt) and Mitch, and Hev, in-person. I am so glad (then and now) that I did. I made a couple of those rejuvenating visits tothe Tractor Pull, quite outside my customary haunts, but well-worth the new experience = adventure - and new camaraderie.)
We need a mixture and a blending of it all. (My wife is calling me, right now, so I gotta run....)
