I will accept that at times I am too obscure or oblique in my references.....

Speaking of obscure, check this out. E-Bay was created because its inventor's wife collected PEZ dispensers. Yup.

Actually it was the chicken that ended up in the drain after it crossed the road or something like that.
I think I should stick to the train discussions, American and Aussie sense of humor are completely different along with the terminology.

We get oblique and even obtuse, from time to time, and it's mostly Rufus's fault. He leads the small subset pack into verbal oblivion, and thought-provoking zones, i.e. this very thread.

My advice? Wade right into the thick of it, right into the bog. Enjoy the romp. Please. :D

Quite probably so. The list of events that I am to blame for is endless.

Although that is true, my post wasn't made necessarily concerning comments by
Rufus. It may take me a little time but I usually figure them out.
If I don't get it I ask.

Neville, we are all a tinnie short of a six pack here (except for Mitch) so don't worry about it. If we can't understand what yoos are sayin', yoos will fit right in.

Proof?

Yes. I was a quart low... And the bill was outrageous! I wouldn't pay it if I were you!...

See? Fun guy. Funny, too.

Feng shui is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment. I have no idea why Murph asked such a question. We are all in harmony here. It is a model train forum and we all play with model trains. Feng shui achieved.

I strongly suspect some part "fun" and some part to see/test what response might be provoked which I might posit to also be "fun".

And, if no one has commented yet - interesting variant of your normal avatar, Wayne - any significance to the mask? Local outbreak of poo gas?
