Almost done - just need a set of smaller dry transfers in gold to finish this off. Used the original roof and the fit is less than perfect, but I'm going to leave it at that.

Finally put the final lettering on this car after I got some smaller gold dry transfers. Would have really liked them to be slightly smaller to get the additional lettering that preceded the number, but it's probably just going to have to do as is...

Yes, but not always. Depends on the car and what it's purpose is and how I feel about it and the scene that I might be setting within the car itself.

If I could find passengers for the 1880-1920 era, I might do more with the interior populations in my passenger cars.

A recent arrival to the shop......fragile, barely structually stable, and will be a fun rebuild, too! Don't know it this was a kit or what, but I bought 5 cars to get this one - the other 4 are actively looking for new homes already,





I think that while I reassemble//restore it, that I may build a copy or 2 in parallel, too

Martin, I am glad you wound up with that CP "Conductors Van". I saw that on eBay and considered it myself just based on cool-factor alone. I am resisting such impulses these days though and did not bid. But I am not surprised you did!

First time around it was part of a huge lot of stuff far and away beyond anything that I would normally consider buying, although there were a few other items in there that were calling to me. This car caught my eye then and I saved a picture of it for future reference.

Then it was listed with just 4 other cars - I can handle that easily enough. Was relieved by the lack of competition then and now more than ever!
