There's this weird *pattering* noise outside, and the tree-leaves are shaking, and it smells funny, there's gurgling noises along the edge of my roof, something's hitting me on my head when I stick it out the door, and my lawn and fields are making this huge *sucking*noise...

 WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???

Send it east. Offer it anything. I'm getting sick of the sound of fans.
That a life will be spent gaining inches,
When this distance is read in miles.

Started raining here about 11 pm and as of 7 am still going pretty steady -- really needed a good soaking rain. Good weather to be in the home office and shop

Roger,

I think you, me, and the Sarge are the only folks even approaching consciousness......and I'm going to correct that condition shortly by returning to my reading about the recent advance on chemistry of bismuth,

Hey, Rufus. Have you awoken from your nap? Did it help improve your view of life?
I'll have you know that, whilst SOME people are able to doze the day away, ANG Bob has been here all day removing your garden cart from the garage as well as several tubs of old railroad paper. Got a lot done cleaning up the railroad, too.

It was a Grand Day Out!

That I must admit.

Oh, I had a constructive day and got a lot done and simply did not come back here until today.

Dug up la arge clump of hosta that harbored some bamboo this morning -- an 8' long root and 2 that were ~4' long that the landscaping crew conveniently overlooked removing. I swear the stuff is 1/2 snake and 1/2 plant.... Then I took out a cedar tree stump just for good measure and also because it was cooperating with the bamboo.....

Bob has a bit more free time than I do and why do I suspect that you've taken advantage of the laddie once again,

Now, back to revising manuscripts, reading bismuth chemistry, and a nap during this thing they call the world cup,
