Hobo Jungle
Re: Hobo Jungle
Pete, I've never heard of anyone Yukon Jacking fully two nights in a row. Don't think it can be done, but post photographic proof if you're gonna attempt her. Even Jake (the legendary Green Mountain boy) was outdone by the Jack. He swore off for life. I gotta say I'm doubtful you were really into the Jack fully. For one thing I don't think Leah would be that close to you and smiling. Are you sure you're not fibbing?

No, not fibbing... it was a complete bald-faced lie. I've never been sh*t-faced in my entire life. I don't even drink. I had other poisons, in my day.
I had to work last night, and being passed-out was all I could come up with, as an excuse for my absence.
Just trying to entertain, is all. Comes a time I guess I should know better.

This shot of joy for the new year and indeed decade and it seems even something more special than that somehow to me is entitled: The More Living, The More Dead only because I made a toast to the dead while we were viewing this New Year's spectacle of ours, and Tramp said it. Legendary Line in my opinion.

ps. pete i knew you were a workin' last night with those crazy MF's, hilarious photos today though, thanks to everyone for these insanely funny photos, and so nice to see each of you in the fles . . . I mean pixels. Cheers!

You're not a good actor, Pete. I never thought for a moment that any of it wasn't just campin' it up (now, there's an expression that dates me,eh?)

When I pass on into the spirit world, I don't think I'd want toast. I'd like a bagel or perhaps a blueberry croissant.

Yes, you are right, Roger, this is really pleasant seeing many of the faces with whom we have become acquainted via this forum. Pictures help make up for the fact that we do not have facial expressions or tone of voice to further inform us of a poster's personality and intentions.
It was a treat seeing what Daisy and Tramp really look like, esp. since they are very close to what I pictured in my mind. And Andre is almost exactly how I imagined him to be - now how did that come about, one wonders.
It's all a very nice way to come together further, via sharing photos, as a little community that regards most of its members positively, despite many of us being strangers in person. We disappear the moment we step away from the computers. Turn the electricity off or stay away from MTJ and we are gone forever from lives that have included fairly passionate emotions, at times. An interesting phenomenon, indeed.
You must to see the movie AVATAR......
Roy Orbison version...means with the big 3D glasses.....recommneded

I will look forward to that this coming week, I believe. Your recommendation made that mandatory.

How many Legacy equipped locomotive models have been delivered?
Circa 20 are offered in the 2009 volume II Lionel catalog but I know that often what is offered is not made or made later.
I did not check earlier catalogs because I thought there would be duplication.
I ask because I have seen claims that several persons had /has over 30 Legacy locos.I wondered if this is possible without duplication.
