Interesting beer, Andre!

And, yes! Do not drink it - send it to me immediately for safe keeping,

Well, did you notice who designed the label? Some dude named Eric Green.I think I have heard of him but have never met him.I understand that he also writes for a newspaper and plays with trains in addition to being an artist. He also did a lot of travel around the country in his younger days and has a lot of stories to tell.

Eric Green, eh? I've heard that name. Believe he used the alias, Tramp. Used to frequent a particular tavern we use, sometimes stayed in our hobo camp. Has a taste for Canadian beers, and a pretty good taste in women. Think he struck it rich and went high falutin' on us; rarely makes an appearance anymore. Hell, if he'd show up at Gomer's, I'd pay him that twenty he lent me.

Mitch, the problem is I can't afford Gomer's anymore. How did you figure I got rich? I'd love to hear that one.

Just ramblin', Tramp. I was in my cups. I was home by myself, (the wife stayed at her mothers' last night, MIL just got out of the hospital after an 8 day stay), and I figured I'd go downstairs and smoke up the basement with some diesel smoke. The beer refrigerator is a step and an armslength from the transformer. So, I had a couple, then brought 2 more up and watched a little of the news, then I went back down for a couple more, and a few more yet after taking the dogs out, and well, shit happens. But sometimes you don't post for quite awhile, rarely stop for a beer, or in camp for a hobo meal. Kinda like you fell off the face of the earth. I'm sure you'd have told us if you had hit the lottery.

Mitch, I fell off a financial cliff into a valley of dust and boulders. Besides, I stop by when I can. Sometimes, the jingoism puts me off since it's the last 8 years that destroyed the country, not the last 52 days while someone has actually been trying to fix things.

Oh, shit. And you're probably gonna have to put a roof on your house, too?

So, Andre, did you drink the Xingu? If you did, maybe that's why we haven't heard from you.

Mitch, roof is the least of it. But some years are better than others, right?

Guess that could be debated since it depends on your point of view.

Tramp:
Thanks for the advice, but was too late I did it.
One a month me
and my friend we meet to enjoy just 6 beer bottles. A cocktail beer Friday night.
We bought 6 different beers whatever we want and try all of them.
this Friday was for a couple of sud American beers, two American and two belgian.
the dogfish head won again, belgian 2nd, and the sudamerican beer no comment......I survive...to the Easton PA beer 9.3%
taste as a creek...Xingu, black but not taste at, little sweet. Polar from Venezuela is like a seltzer.....
Nice label anyway.....
Andre.

Uh, not if your last name is Mitchell. Then all years are bad, and some are much worse.

I will pay Tramp's tab at Gomer's for the duration. There is no obligation. His hobo comradeship spanning years is far more that I ever expected.

Mitch:

Just be glad your last name is not Perrine.

My kids and wife and I used to drive around in the car and all of a sudden would brake out in song.
