I'd like to find a decent pic of Delores, the funeral car for the UR&E here in Baltimore. I think that one was a bit bigger than that of Harrisburg.

Somewhere I think I have a photo of a different funeral trolley car; maybe posted it already?

Stove on a streetcar...can't say I've ever seen that, but then I've never been to Minneapolis in January.

Wheeling (WV) Traction street cars had some form of heat that radiated from floor level under the windows.
Don't think I ever saw a stove on one.

Interesting that both poles appear to be raised. I have an Industrial Rail trolley with both poles raised and I thought that was silly...who knew?

I agree...I presume the ones I rode with my grandmother in Balto during the early 1960s had some sort of heat, but certainly no stove. In Minneapolis, the motorman's job is never done.
