Shouldn't that link open?
I for one, while not a fan of such illegal and wanton vandalism want to see your jpg as I do render graffiti on some of my post 1990 freight cars too (I model a lot of era's)
Please correct your link

CC,
I know that I told you before that I didn't like graffiti but admired your talents.
That has not changed and I remember that I couldn't tell your models from the real thing.
That hasn't changed either. Iwould like to see some more of your work and I think others would also.
Welcome back and don't stay away so long.

As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

Not much of a response here on MTJ. Much better action on OGR:=> https://ogrforum.com/topic/who-models-u ... ays?page=1
I used to ride these porthole cars when I was growing up. When they got to Los Angeles they dove down into the LA subway.

This was in the 50's. The only graffitti I remember was Kilroy was Here and similar markings.
I grew up in the Los Angeles basin. The Los Angeles subway, operated by the Pacific Electric Railway, shut down on June 19, 1955.
Infromation from Google AI: The modern era of graffiti began in the 1960s in Philadelphia and spread to New York in the late 1960s. The 1970s saw the art form explode onto city walls and subway cars.
I moved to Tucson in 1971 where there was some graffiti. Today, I was told that Tucson's wall art is mostly murals.

Re: GRAFFITI SUBWAYS 1980S STYLE
I wonder how many graffiti artists have become mural artists?
Graffiti and murals are both types of art, but they differ in style, purpose, and techniques.
