Thanks, Roger.
I'm fairly pleased with how this turned out. It's a very small engine and probably not going to be dragging a line of freight cars very far, if at all.
I have a boxed kit for another one to build although I'm not sure that I will built it or just sell it off.

If you have time to build it you will because that is what you really like to do,IMHO.

It's the time element more than anything else that will make the decision for me - I have far too many projects lined up and I now have one of these engines - other serious limiting factor here is acquiring a suitable and even correct drive to go under a 2nd engine.
This variable is really becoming a greater concern the O scale trolley and traction modeling - there's never been more than a few options and viable sources for drives at any given time. For the past couple of years when I have seen drive sets that I might be able to use someday for some project, I have just bought them as the future seems bleak on this critical aspect of this segment of O scale.

There has not been a really great trolley drive available (at least in new production) since Rich Wagner died.

Got a 2nd one of these converted. Good fun and not a hard conversion to get to an interesting traction freight car.

Actually, just about anything that would fit in them - just like modern shipping containers are used. The use of containers to ship stuff via traction / trolley lines dates back into the 20's.
I'm building some "kits" for containers based on those that the C&LE \used in the 30's. Building the flat car under them has been the easier and faster portion of the project,
