It's actually Photoshop cropped from the upper right corner of a CVRR pass; forgotten what year s that they used this emblem. Always thought that they should have used on their rolling stock...................and I do now and again do just that using decals that I made for just that purpose,

Rufus your models are exquisite and unusual, the sort of stock I'd like to buy if only to display them!

What they make me think of is Roland Emmetts railway which was actually built for the 1950's Festival of Britain but otherwise existed only as cartoons in Punch magazine.

Come to think of it, those characters are somewhat like I imagine your personna as! Certainly very much in tune with the Bonzo's brand of eccentricity, very peculiarly English.

Thanks, Mike!

Unusual; I tend to gravitate to that aspect of all modeling as I =tend to find the "average" boring or at least too readily achievable. While I certainly can pursue the rigidly strict conformance to prototype emulation, I'm probably a bit more expressive and maybe more of an artist than modeler at times.

Thanks, Roger!

I hope that I can get back into the swing of building these cars more in the near future. Got too many other people's stuff in my way and a bit of an upheaval in the shop - bit of a re-org - while I'm trying to get some of that "other stuff" projects completed.

Rufus,
What do you use for power to your motors? Overhead or two rail or are they convertible?
I don't know why I just thought of this.

As I do not have my wire up yet - last thing to install given having to work around it doing scenery stuff - all of my drive units are actually insulated sot hat I can run stuff on regular track, and then later I will be able to run them off overhead as well. The 2-3 commercial brass engines that I have on the roster have a little switch underneath as do some of my own models to go to overhead running vs. track, so convertible is how I choose to go to have max flexibility.

There was a factory in my home area that had a loco similar to that.
I have no idea who the manufacturer was just that it looked similar.

Looks great.

I realize the model isn't finished yet but is there a reason for two different couplers?

Right now it's as I received it and I think that the coupler difference is that one is not mounted properly or just loose.

This is a really small engine as well for O scale.
