Cold so I'm playing about with the class B-1. No idea of it's heritage; kit? Heavy brass parts....added a bell and cradle that partially missing. Working on roof platforms for pantograph and for pole. Got to get a pole........ Footboards are in a baggie with a mix screws along with couplers....

No floor or mounting for trucks....but there are 4 holes in the side frame...have to build up a powered floor unit. Now I have to rummage through my stock of power trucks to find a set that actually fit on wheelbase and reside below the floor....and have acceptable (to me!) sideframes.

As the literacy rate declines, you’ll ask yourself why the quality of life continues to deteriorate in ways large and small, and in almost every instance the answer will be: because people stopped reading.

Dear Dr. Firefly,

Have you any progress to report on the Baldwin B1 locomotive? Semi-locally to me the Tulsa-Sapulpa Union interurban ran one of the B1 variants. They had an attractive paint scheme.
