I started buying in 83, back then TTOS was big here, they had big monthly meets and Cal Stewart was big. Almost down to nothing now. I bought a lot of trains, I got the collecting mentality that many of us get and bought way too much.
I had a good job but considered myself sort of poor and I have always been real thrifity so almost all of my postwar stuff is running quality.
I was looking at my F'3's and I wish i had bought nicer ones. I have so much I quit buying years ago.

I think most of us have some of those: What in the H*ll was I thinking? moments.

I come across some things stored away in boxes where I say to myself, I sure hope I didn't pay much for this.
