Thanks, RBH; hoping to finish it off today. Picked up a pack of Scotch heavy-duty scour pads to use to make some hedge...hope it works.

Dennis, that pic has me rethinking my under-layout lack of storage. I'm thinking I should take all of the curtain stuff down and install some shelving.

It’s been years since I watched that movie. Jean Shepard was a terrifically funny guy. I have a disc around here somewhere with an archive of all of his radio shows. Daniel Pinkwater is another. Both grew up in the Thirties, and the stories they tell are just hilarious.

I often wondered if the leg-lamp was something actually marketed back in the day, or was it some crazy prop developed specifically for the movie? Either way, it worked fabulously for the film.
