Kind of thing I love. But not for $185+poor packing and shipping.
Wrong couplers. Not coil couplers. Tabbed in tender, too. Coal pile missing.
As far as "kit" goes, "winner" needs to provide all the hardware to assemble.
Steam chest screws, front coupler screws, motor to boiler cross screws. Valve gear pivot screws. Tender shell screws, Coal pile and hardware.
Horribly inadequate photos, one shot of each side of the pile of parts. No shot of the RS number on bottom of tender floor.
Allegedly this was 1946 only, but who knows, with those couplers if it's even a 1665. Re-numbered later unit? 1665 boiler and the rest from later?
Are there pickups on the tender trucks? The wires, pigtails, plugs and sockets from engine to tender aren't there.
Fifteen bucks at a train show and I'd be all over it. I'd put it together for that.

motor block is later...has rollers. 1665 had sliders.

Re: nice...1665 "kit"
so....later couplers, later motor block, no pigtails, plugs and sockets, no screws, insufficient photos, best guess is this ain't a rare 1946 only 1665.
