Corroded. Stripes so far gone....is that mold growing on the shell?
Front coupler is corroded. The battery compartment is rusted and corroded.
Surprisingly the bottom of the trucks don't look bad.
Wet basement for decades.
I'd be ashamed to drag that out to show someone what I "won" on evilbait.
Ah, but they show a NYC FA prototype in just post PC decrepitude to prove this is "right".
NOT for $250 plus shipping.
Geez.

Are you allowed to sell hazardous material on eBay?

I'm getting twitchy just looking at the pictures. Looks like it needs a good long soaking in a bucket of Lysol.

Wouldn't soaking it remove all that "weathering"?

Whatever they've been through has destroyed stripes. I would imagine paint isn't so hot.
Corrosion....if the front coupler is that bad, imagine the motors and e-unit.
Battery slot.
For 250 plus shipping (another 50 to me) needs to be a whole lot better than that.
That isn't weathering. Seller using the term to mask the mold and fungus growing on the shells.
Need a tetanus shot after you open them.

Fifty bucks delivered, take your chances, spend time and money repairing them. Seller states that they run. Not sure how well.
The air horn are even corroded.
If the TCA seller was interested, or if what's under the garbage is any good, he's have pulled the shells and washed them. More PROFIT! Since he didn't, hands-on probably tells him there is not enough left of paint to save, so sell it on evilbait!
